Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
MailerSend WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.0.8
Description
Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) occurs because the plugin fails to perform a nonce check on its configuration-delete action. While the plugin verifies the
manage options capability, it ignores the nonce, allowing an attacker to trick a logged-in administrator into visiting a crafted page. This action wipes the SMTP configuration and deactivates the plugin, which disrupts the site's email delivery.Recommendations
Update MailerSend WordPress plugin to version 1.0.8 or later.
