Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Red Hat Quay (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the repository-level mirror configuration feature. The POST and PUT handlers in the
endpoints/api/mirror.py file accept an external reference parameter without Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) validation. SSRF is a vulnerability that allows an attacker to induce the server-side application to make requests to an unintended location. A repository administrator can provide a crafted hostname, causing the mirror worker to make requests via Skopeo to internal network services, cloud metadata endpoints, or other resources not intended to be reachable from the application.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
