Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions MPG WordPress plugin versions prior to 4.1.8
Description An issue exists where the plugin fails to sanitize and escape a parameter before reflecting it in the response. This allows unauthenticated attackers to execute Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)—a technique where malicious scripts are injected into trusted websites—against victims who are induced to send a crafted request via the mpg shortcode function.
