Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Intel(R) Graphics Driver (affected versions not specified)
Description
A configuration issue with default permissions within some Intel(R) Graphics Driver software operating in Ring 2—a privileged process—could allow an escalation of privilege. An unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user and a complex attack method may be able to gain higher privileges on the system. This requires local access, does not need special internal knowledge, and needs user interaction. The issue has the potential to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the system.
