Description
A flaw exists in the Input/Output Memory Management Unit (IOMMU) of AMD processor microcode due to incorrect validation of configuration data. Successful exploitation could allow a malicious hypervisor to reconfigure IOMMU registers, potentially leading to a loss of guest data integrity. This could allow an attacker to bypass security restrictions and impact the confidentiality of protected information.
