Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's cgroup/dmem subsystem where a NULL pointer dereference can occur when setting the maximum memory limit. This issue is triggered when attempting to set a maximum value without proper validation of the region name, such as using the command "echo test/region0 > dmem.max". The dereference leads to a kernel panic, potentially causing system instability.
