Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the iwlwifi module related to the handling of mlo scan start wk. Specifically, mlo scan start wk is not properly canceled upon disconnection, leading to a potential init-after-queue issue if the work was queued before the interface is changed. This can also result in a use-after-free condition if the work is executed after the virtual interface (vif) has been freed.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
