**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Linux kernel versions prior to 5.14.0-03771-g98c2059e008a-dirty **Description** The vulnerability is related to the `powerpc64/bpf` component of the Linux kernel, specifically with the `ldbrx` instruction, which is only compatible with processors that support ISA version 2.06. The issue arises when the `ldbrx` instruction is used on older processors, resulting in an illegal instruction error. This can lead to a crash and potentially allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. **Recommendations** At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
