Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux kernel (affected versions not specified) Description: The vulnerability is related to incorrect error handling in the ext4 component of the Linux kernel. This could lead to silent memory corruption or a kernel bug. The issue is resolved by fixing the error handling in the `ext4 fc record modified inode()` function and cleaning up duplicated error handling logic in the `fast commit.c` file. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause a denial of service. Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
