**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Linux kernel versions prior to 5.13.4 **Description** The issue is related to incorrect connection-setup ordering in the Linux kernel, specifically in the fs/nfs/nfs4client.c file. This allows operators of remote NFSv4 servers to cause a denial of service by making those servers unreachable during trunking detection, resulting in hanging mounts. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 5.13.4, update to version 5.13.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to remote NFSv4 servers to minimize the risk of exploitation.
