**Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions** Apache ActiveMQ versions prior to 5.3.1 **Description** A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists, allowing remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This is achieved via the `JMSDestination` parameter in a queue action in the `createDestination.action` endpoint. **Recommendations** For versions prior to 5.3.1, update to version 5.3.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the `createDestination.action` endpoint to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the `JMSDestination` parameter in the affected endpoint until the issue is resolved.
